What Hummingbirds REALLY do

We have a humming bird feeder on our window right next to the dining room table. This makes for many an interesting meal time conversation.

Tonight at dinner is one example.

Paige: "What are the hummingbirds doin'?"

Mama: "Probably asleep somewhere." (okay - not a great answer, but I'm tired).

Paige: "NO! Silly! They are laughing and playing and watching a show somewhere!"

I just agree. Because, really, she could be right....
