Page is talking about her field trip to the local police station.
Paige: "And then we got to see a black police car. And it had a trap door in it."
Mom (very curious about the trap door): "That sounds super neato! Where was the trap door?"
Paige: "In the top of the car. So that they can get out if they need to."
It took a moment, but then I got it.
Trap door = sunroof.

Dinner
I cooked some chicken tonight for dinner (along with other items). I cooked them plain because that is what the children in our home will eat.
Paige to me: "Thanks for making Chinese food tonight. I love Chinese food! Especially the chicken!"
Wha?

Wha?
Not even close
We are talking about climbing trees.
Paige: "And thank goodness that tree is strong enough for a 5 year old girl to climb! But not you Mama, um, how old are you?"
Mama: "Guess."
Paige: "16!"
Mama: "No."
Paige: "14!"
Mama: "No."
Paige: "100!!!!"
Mama: "Nope."
Paige: "Gazillion!!!"
Mama: "Nope."
Paige (rather hesitantly): "14?"
Mama: "No. I'm 31. What do you think of that?"
Paige just looks and stares at me.
